Please define "hask"

If in doubt start manually and figure the mechanic from this one!

Did you see this one here? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulper

Have seen many types of separators, but never worked with coffee. ONE: is to slide the beans/husks down a ramp and set up a blower (hand operated) that blows air through the stream of coffee beans and husks. this will blow the husks away from the container that catches the heavier beans. Will work only if the husks are substantially lighter than the beans. May require two passes to be effective. Experiment with it. NOTE: you may need to roast the husks with the beans first to make them lighter/crispier>>??? NOTE: there are many variations of the air separator utilizing air direction as opposed to material direction/velocity and air velocity/direction. you need to set up an adjustable prototype that allows for moving air flow and material streams in order to get the most efficient separation. To feed the beans in can be a simple hand crank auger or simply hand pour from a bucket. TWO: Water separation works if beans sink and husk floats. As long as it does not matter getting the beans wet. Hope this helps. Harold

A high dollar coffee is processed by feeding the hole pod that the coffee beans are in to a breed of monkey and they the coffee beans that are pooped out.

Just so you know, I am not joking.

You may have to talk to engineers in the coffee business. The engineers that have responded so far have no idea at all of the properties of the husk or the bean.
