All the Variable Frequency Drives come with microprocessor/microcontrollers?

Only the ones with variable speed.

Nobody has manufactured an analog (meaning those without microprocessors) VFD for over 20 years, but at one time they ALL were that way. So although it is possible, it is no longer economically viable. The older analog drives were based upon the use of much slower acting transistors which are, for the most part, no longer made, at least not in quantities that would be necessary to keep the cost down.
