Scheduling Software Utility

10/10/2014 8:47 AM

Hi there,

I'm looking for a simple scheduling utility programme to organise the annual servicing element for some of my customers.

I provide customers with an annual service/maintenance of their equipment, plus any repairs if required on an ad-hoc basis.

Typically if there are no failures during the year the services would occur annualy, however an ad-hoc fault (and the subsequent service & repair) would then change the service schedule for that customer.

I've tried organising these in MS Outlook calander (using recurring events) but it's a bit "clunky" and not very well suited to the task.

Can anyone recomend some (Windows/PC) software that would help me keep on top of these so i can see at a glance for example which customers will be needing a service next month for example.

Billing/service reports etc. are all handled by seperate systems so i'm realy just looking for a simple (quick to use & update) programme for the scheduling side of the operation.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to reading your replies.

How large is the customer base that you need to support with this?

If you don't anticipate large growth or a need for other complex parameters, Excel (or Access if you're ambitious) should easily handle that job.
