Password for Administrator in Laptop - Is not Recognized for Usage

Respected Ones ,

Having a problem with Windows 2008 laptop with two user set up . Now , User 1 password is known . PC is not recognising . Including for format ; when tried , PC gives passpord page ( Admini. ) again and again . For all Applications , this has been the system´s response .

User 2 password and functions are normal . It can access all files ( in common sharing ) . For your observations and assistance , I put forward this case - please . Awaiting for your responses to an extend . Thanking you .

The it to a shop where you can show ID and proof of ownership. The fix is pretty simple. Or ship to me and I'll fix it for $80.00 phr.(US) with return postage prepaid.

There are some Linux based stand-alone applications, run (booted) from CD/DVD which can recover windoze passwords, reset or change them ..... go search

I had a similar problem with my laptop a while back.

I googled it and it seems to be a relatively common fault. I had to go into the registry and change some of the lines. I had the instructions open on a working laptop next to the other one and i fixed the problem.

But make sure you read and understand the instructions before trying to fix the issue as I take no liability if you mess up the registry on your laptop.

Mine was a Windows 7 machine but i would have thought this could be the problem.
