Measuring the Richness of the Plant Data

11/20/2014 6:01 AM

Hi. I just wanted to know is der any measures to check the richness of the data. I mean I know things like outliers, missing data information have to be taken care, i also know about Compressiblity factor. but apart form this, is there anythign like we have to fit a PDfF and we can check by anyway..

The thing that i am looking for this is because I tried ot fit a model for set of 10000 data sets, but my model fit is very less only for some datas and in those data the Compressiblity factor is also very less. i just wanna know how to check whether the data is good/rich enough for system identifcation.. pleas ehelp me with this problem as soon as possible..

Try some graphing and trending charts.

What plant are we talking about?

Usually you know if your controller is working by looking at the output of the plant.

Can you please describe the problem with a little bit more detail?
