"Does anyone know about machining fuse ceramic?"

I assume you wish to "machine" fired ceramic portion of a fuse holder. Right?

Production or a one time thing? If production make any and all changes prior to firing or make modifications between first and second firings.

For a one time operation you should use a wet water cooled diamond wheel, and high speed.

Grinding or find an insert that will cut ceramic. Ceramic is extremely brittle. Any impact will shatter the part. So grinding is best.

Depends on what you need to do, maybe you can waterjet it.
