I don't think there's any help for you here.

Rubber is a term usually applied to flexible materials. I believe "polymer" is a better term.

Why peroxide cured?

Why not try acrylic casting or injection molding. Both mature, well known processes.

You want someone to educate you in an area where you are not competent.

You'll need to hire someone for that.

I am well versed in the techniques, equipment, materials and processes involved.

I am available for $100.00 USD per hour as a consultant.

A quick estimate of the time required to make you competent in the processes and help with starting a prototype production facility is about 340 hours.

That would be spread over a period of 3 months, since I have other obligations.

PM me if you'd like to discuss a consultancy agreement.

You have to pass this through to a consultant for a proper engineering analysis. Anything else we propose here is little more than a guess. The supply of fools will always outstrip the demand.

I was working with translucent silicone in the 80's. And yes, WHY a peroxide cure??

Call your local polymer supplier and tell them what you want to accomplish and they will give you a solution or point you in the right direction. Or maybe just GOOGLE it??

I used gallons and gallons of Sylgard®182 as encapsulant/potting for electronics used in missile electronics in the 70's.

As a rough guess, you will need to use an Unobtanium polymerizer, and some Handwavium catalyst to get the curing time to be within parameters.

In the meantime, I would recommend taking a class in English. People will take you more seriously if you do not talk in netspeak abbreviations and repeatrepeatrepeat words like you were typing blind. Knowledge of capitalization and punctuation rules will be a plus, but are not mandatory.

By the way, welcome to CR4,
