12/23/2014 11:07 AM

Looks like Zephram Cochran has some competition. We can only hope.

I think restoring the Camero makes more sense.

I think that his real dream, is imagining that such technology wouldn't be immediately scooped up and weaponized.

Fredski- I'm still waiting for Nocera's solar----hydrogen----fuel cell that will bring (almost) free electricity to the masses.

I have a motionless Corvette. I'll keep it.

It's tangible. Any time I want I can flash through another 5 grand.

Who needs warp drive?

Yeah...I'm sure that once the hunt is over and you've located the elusive pecker, you can get it to work through the threat of a good flogging.

Merry Christmas.

The article doesn't have any details, but I assume he is trying to demonstrate an effect of electric field inside a Faraday cage (which should isolate the electric field).

I would suspect that his Faraday cage is not perfect, especially since there is a laser beam going through. (The only perfect Faraday cage might be a completely closed box made out of superconductor.)

Still, I wish him luck. Maybe he'll find something new.

It would be nice if the video showed the laser experiment described in the article. I am trying to visualize it, but having difficulty. I like my stationary corvette too. I'm too old to warp.
