How can I Routine test with/without power driver or controller, A Two/three phase hybrid unipolar /bipolar stepper motor? Power supply up-to 60 VDC compatible to SM.
Not being funny, but I'd have that discussion with the equipment manufacturer directly over the phone rather than ask these Herberts, Mildred. Then, I'm funny that way, I suppose.
The purchase specification should define the requirements and acceptance level to which to test the motor, before the purchase was ever made.
If you don't know how to test the motors, and therefore determine their suitability for the application, you will just have to take the suppliers word that they will work.
This is not a good way to do business.
You can't inspect correctness into a motor, it either is or isn't correct.
Main purpose to be sure as manufacturer also may not be able to provide the proper guidance, for without driver and controller. & is the case. Any way thanks for your keen interest in the topic and pleas keep posting you feel correctly.
In business one should be open to all possibilities and not just fit in to the rut and stop others doing it.
Please review few comments already posted in this thread, you will get the answer I was also not aware.
Without a driver you cannot test the performance of motor. The only thing you can do is take mechanical measurements to see if the motor in your hand agrees with mechanical drawings from the manufacturer.

Short out any two phases, turn the shaft, you should feel it cogging; repeat as per the total number of phases.
Short out all of them toghether and rotate the shaft, you should feel a steady resistance to move; the higher the specified torque of the motor, the higher the resistance you will encounter.
If you have two motors of the same type, connect each of the phases to the other (i.e. Ph1 to Ph1, Ph2 to Ph2 etc.), then rotate one of the shafts and the other motor should rotate accordingly.
Don't forget to test resistance of the windings and insulation against the shell.
