The global warming debate is never ending: three recent papers argue for greenhouse gas reduction actions that are more cost-effective than simply reducing emissions through efficiency and renewable energy. Lower costs can be incurred by implementing forestry campaigns, controlling methane emissions, and addressing soot or black carbon. The latter two options offer almost immediate benefits while all three approaches together would be optimal.
