New Weather Instrumentation Promises More Accurate Forecasts

New weather instrumentation takes off from Cape Canaveral with the goal of more accurate storm and radiation tracking. By monitoring the levels of radiation, scientists may be able to recommend re-routing planes to reduce long-term radiation exposure to the pilots and crews who tend to fly the same routes day after day.
