Nothing but Blue Sky

Posted March 24, 2010 7:36 AM

Wired magazine reports on a company that plans to offer a do-it-yourself jet kit. Granted, the plug-and-play design simplifies assembly, but it is still a jet aircraft that you would be bolting together. How much confidence would you have in the manufacturer, not to mention your own ability to follow instructions, to actually fly the thing? Would you climb in the cockpit and take off?

The French made a similar but slightly smaller jet plane in the 1970s for sale, I have seen a few over the years but not recently.

Yes! I would fly the jet that i made but probable wouldn't fly a jet anyone else made. There are levels of actually flying the thing though. I am not going to take off and test the limits of structural integrity straight away. you ease into these things and because of that i think it would be fine.
