ACC Defines Responsible Care®

Posted July 30, 2007 2:18 PM by Steve Melito

Focusing on responsible manufacturing in the chemicals market has taken on a new dimension with the American Chemical Council's new Responsible Care® program. Under the new program the public is granted access to vital information which demonstrates an organization's commitment to sustainable chemistry, including data about safety, security, and energy-efficiency. In addition to increasing awareness about the need for sustainable chemistry, the program seeks to make company operations more transparent. Will this new program affect your organization?

Have them keep tight control on the amount of TOLUENE. It is a major chemical used to produce COCAINE. The crush the coca leaves in kerosene with their feet or machine to get a paste then they washout the kerosene with TOULENE. They usually get the TOULENE thru Tennis Shoe factories where it is used as a thinner for the glue.

I would hope they be inspecting the show factories because kids who work in those factories are often found worndering around stoned or dead in the streets from breathing the fumes.

Talks with the government officals could also force the companies to account for the chemicals they use. My college research showed drug dealers owned many shoe factories to get the Toulene.
