Day continues to follow night, grass remains green, and the
inhabitants of one car-producing country maintain that their car
industry has produced the best cars in the world. The most recent such
declaration came toward the end of the recent London Classic Car Show,
where visitors voted Great Britain to the top of the show's Classic Six
Nations Cup.
The competition - intended to settle the question of
which country turned out most of the world's greatest cars over the
decades - included Japan, France, Germany, Italy, the United States, and
Great Britain in a series of three matchups for each country over the
show's three days. Show organizers selected 10 cars to represent each
country, and the matchups consisted of debates over the countries'
respective pros and cons while representative cars paraded down the
indoor show's Grand Avenue.
Why Great Britain is home to the most prestigious auto manufacturers (according to Brits).
