A scientific study asserts that there is a bit of a gap in the
universe — about a billion light-years across. Here, it is believed, neither light nor dark matter can be found. According to National Geographic,
even researchers are having a hard time accepting this mysterious void
located about six to 10 billion light-years from Earth. The Planck
satellite, due to launch in 2008, may have something to add to this
claim.
