Embedded Market Study Reveals All

Posted September 20, 2008 8:00 AM

A recent study of the embedded market offers a comprehensive statistical and qualitative analysis of the market based on results from a detailed survey taken across a fairly large sample of in-discipline professionals. The study covers the profile of the respondents and their associated application areas, as well as considerations of deadlines, code reuse, operating systems, and outsourcing. Do you feel these results are representative of the embedded market? Are there any particular results that you disagree with and why? What questions would you have wanted answers to?

Seems reasonable but I don't believe the size of the average design team. I bet it's much lower than that...there must be tons of one man bands who don't get to the shows fill in the forms etc.

Think about it...if you have a 10man team and 50% of them go to the show/fill out the form your data is now completly screwed as you think you have 5 ten man teams working on software!

I rest my case your honour.... statistics, surveys and damn lies.
