If one accepts the definition that pollution is a substance that is in the wrong place, then in an environment with limited resources it stands to reason that pollution would be <...The World's Number One Killer...>. What is surprising is that the notion has become newsworthy, in light of the fact that projected human lifespan has been increasing over time.
