Yes, Mildred, ice hanging from the wings is bad, bad, bad. Mustn't have it.

That qualifies as severe weather affecting flights, and makes the trip over the river and over the woods, more like over the river, and into the woods. Bad, bad, bad.

It seems it would make more sense to invest in better high-speed rail service that is connected to the airports. Rail tends to be more reliable in poor weather.
