I am into doing small research at home on unconventional energy sources, making small Tesla turbines, home machining, and restoration of old lawn equipment. I am a member of a group that researches and reads anything published on Low Energy Nuclear Reactions, hydrogen on demand, and thermal batteries, among other topics including rocket assisted Go-Karts.
I have been working formally in water treatment for over 20 years, and consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in that arena. I hold an advanced degree in physical chemistry, and was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
I am interested in the history of aviation, especially WWII era planes, and sometimes participate in battle re-enactments in a multi-player arena game.
I work with pressure boilers, gas turbines, steam turbines, and other types of equipment commonly found in power generation plants.
