Sounds like a good reason for shops to have free WiFi; and shoppers to put their phones away and focus.

..which indicates correlation between phone use while driving and incidents on the road. Humans just haven't evolved, yet, to cope with distracting stimuli when they need to be concentrating.

The damn things do have an "off" button!
