Sequestration by photosynthesis, globally, exceeds the emission figure in the article by a factor of around 200. What's missing here?

Sounds like a complicated money machine that is sure to enrich somebody, somewhere.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Will I get my carbon offsets because I compost my leaves and then enrich the soil with carbon based material, thereby sequestering atmospheric carbon?
