Um, er, <...Solar calls...> don't actually <...shine...>; they absorb light rather than emit it.

And only when the sun is visible, scratch them in clouds or at night so 30 years at part light makes it maybe 15 years max but more like 10 years.

Good that their average life is 30 years as against 20 years of present day Solar Cells.But do they compete in price also ?
