  • The ignition is turned off.

Jeez! My Ford won't let me turn the ignition off unless I place the transmission in Park. That part is already solved.

  • The driver’s door opens after the driver's safety belt has been unlatched and the vehicle is stationary.
  • The driver's safety belt is unlatched after the driver’s door has been opened and the vehicle is stationary.

But that would make it impossible to drive it off a cliff. No fun at all!
