I have worked for about 6 years as an engineer on deepsea merchant chemical tankers, my specialty is diesel-engines, low-pressure steamboilers and systems and oil purification (fuel and lube oil). In 2005 I've stopped sailing and joined the oil&gas industry as a Maintenance Support Engineer, for several gas production platforms (NAM) on the North Sea. Since this year I am working for an FPSO operator from Hoofddorp, as a Maintenance Engineer. Currently I am mainly working on the cleanup and rebuild of preventive maintenance databases.
I have a BSc degree in Engineering and Nautical for Merchant Shipping.
