I've spent over 40 years in the metallurgical field, highlighting positions as a construction engineer, project quality engineer on submarines and jet engines, startup and commissioning manager, plant manager, project manager and engineer, corporate director of technology development, licensing and worldwide technology transfer of patents, director of field services, construction, design and engineering, commissioning. Corporate director of worldwide marketing and sales, construction and process licensing. Holder of patents in materials beneficiation, agglomeration, pelletizing, extractive metallurgy, direct reduction of iron and ferro-alloys, direct steel making and direct stainless steel making from as mined minerals, using fines and coal directly. Holder of patents in recovery and use of iron bearing wastes from iron and steel mills.

Direct hands on experience in shaft furnace, rotary kilns, rotary hearth and fluid bed technologies for agglomeration and pelletizing and direct reduction technologies, most briquetting methods from batch to continuous, exposed with experience to most technologies in making steel with new applications.

Worked and travelled to over 70 countries, with exposure to cultures and no borders mentality. Have spent time with assignments from UNIDO, EXIM banks, project development and project financing through diplomatic methods.
