As my username states, I know just enough about a lot of things to be dangerous. I've had some formal training in residential and commercial electricity, but then joined the Navy to be an aviation electrician (8yrs). Mostly component (bench level) repair of avionics systems.
I'm currently a technical writer/ DeltaV system administrator by day, and a home project DIYer by night.
