Old line Isambard Brunel type engineer, who was taught "if you can think of an idea, you may not be able to complete it now but never give up. As materials and technology will allow the idea to be completed. So there is no such word as CAN'T be done...just keep trying to solve the problem". So after more than 40+ years I still abide by this rule...where there is a will there is away.

Also do not be too proud to request assistance or help with any idea or problem...leave your EGO at the door. We can all continue to learn young and Old, no one knows it ALL.

So after a 7 year "identured apprenticeship...read low paid learning slavery by some people" in the Aerospace industry (Decca Radar, Vickers/BAC-now BAE, Rolls Royce aero engines and night school. I joined Courtaulds Engineering for 41/2 years then left and came to the US and have been involved in the construction of process equipment and plants for the Chem, Pharma, Cosmetics industry. Now involved in trying to pass on some of my experience and hands on knowledge.

Also involved in race car construction and raced Lotus, Chevron and Ford/Lola sports cars in Europe and US. Was recently only 0.35 seconds off my best time at Lime Rock Park when I was 36 and now 64...not bad for an old fart (done in a Porsche both times)
