Build it right the first time then improve on it

I worked my way of up from being the grunt in manufacturing to becoming an engineer and have since been in several different engineering fields from manufacturing to telecom. My passion is in the electrical engineering field. I cut my teeth on studying electronics way back in high school 20 years ago and to this date have only been able to achieve an associates degree in electronic engineering technology. My goal is still to get my bachelor's degree or even a master's in the future when finances and family life allow for it. I believe to be a good engineer you have to have the abilities to be able to put your hands on it and build it yourself in order to be able to tell someone else how to build it instead of just saying it looks good and works right on paper. My dad hated engineers for this fact that they couldn't do the work themselves but could make it look pretty on paper.

In God We Trust

Our country's constitution and freedom is based upon Biblical principles. May God allow us to keep that freedom and protect those that are fighting to preserve it.

What happened to the steel guitar

I like the old traditional country and gospel sound. You don't hear much of the steel guitar and mandolin anymore and that is what I would like to learn. I play the guitar and piano but not real proficient with either. I basically taught myself to read music but wish I could play by ear.

MOPAR

I have a 2005 Dodge Durango that I love. Of course, it has a Hemi. I would like to pack more hp into it. My dream car is a 69 Plymouth Roadrunner and an IROC Z Camaro. My Mom and Dad had a 69 Roadrunner that they bought brand new the summer before I was born. I can remember my Dad doing donuts in the Wal-Mart parking lot with it when I was a kid. I had an 85 IROC and would love to have another one and beef it up to over 300 hp instead of the meager 190 hp from stock. I was very disappointed to learn they were ranked so low. I thought I had a powerhouse back then when I owned it.

BASS

I love to fish. My best memories are fishing with my dad. We loved to bass fish. I always said that I would have a bass boat of my own before I was 25, then it became 30, then 35, and then 40. Low and behold I got my first boat two weeks before I turned 40 and it was give to me by a very close friend of mine. It isn't much but it will do for the little lake that I will take my girls fishing in.

If you can't eat it don't kill it

I love to hunt. I eat what I kill. If I can't eat it, I won't kill it. I would rather fish any day because I don't like to be cold but I love to hunt. Just being out in the woods where it is peaceful and quiet, it allows you to reflect on things and clear your mind. Just listening to the wind and not seeing it but only feeling it I believe it will allow you to get closer to God. You can't see the wind. You don't know where it is coming from but you can feel it. Kind of like God. You can't see Him but you just know that He is there.
