Have been in quality engineering since 1992 when I was a managing partner in a quality systems consultancy. I returned to the UK from Zimbabwe in 1999 due to the economic climate. I now work as an SQA/PPAP engineer for a Uk based Russian consortium in their oem in Birmingham. I am a mechanical/marine engineer with an electrical/electronic bias and a city & guilds quality certificate. I have implemented many ISO 9000 systems and currently work in TS16949. City & Guilds in Quality Assurance, several companies to registration.

Served my time as a fitter and turner at Jarrow Steel Works in the UK. Then climbed the ladder to Government Health & Safety Factory and Works Inspector and thence into polytechnic lecturing. After completing my City & Guilds Full Technical Certificate I took a part-time BSc Mechanical Engineering degree at Preston Polytechnic in Lancashire (now Lancashire Uni). Presently working as an automotive quality engineer in Birmingham UK. Fellow of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers.
