Yes. If the Degree of Atomisation of Diesel is not proper, the Combustion of Diesel Fuel will be a serious problem, resulting in Loss of Power and hence the Engine cannot take load or stall and come to a halt.

A nozzle in the wrong place can.

Also a missing nozzle could prevent the start.

Nozzles are beastly things and can do all sorts of stuff.

Did you think it was something else? Like user error of some sort?

Nah, its gonna be the nozzle!

I am entirely and truly sorry for all the nozzles out there and I will not blame them again.

That is a bit over the top, have you checked the following before the nozzle?

Fuel filters

You have fuel

No water in the fuel

no dirt and muck in the fuel

The fuel system is free of air

The air filter is clean

As it happens, these too can stop your DGS from running

I'm guessing that "nozzle" is the same as "injector"

Nozzle as in singular for single cylinder engine or do you mean "nozzles" for many cylinders?

Model and serial number please.

That would be of the engine not the generator.
