Couldn't you find a more rabid, subversive, radical rag to cite as a "reliable" source?

George Bush and "Shooter" Cheney started all this spy stuff, not the present administration.
Before 911 the NSA didn't have a "no limits" license to spy on Americans.
I'm not defending Obama, but let's not blame him for everything.

I used the outhouse at a forest preserve and someone said "Hey, no number 2". I was afraid to look in the hole.

That must have been the POTUS down there. - an ignomious reference to the SHRIC.

By the way, do you agree that blimpie looks like it is about to give live birth to a dozen or more smaller blimpies? (Blimpie used on purpose to rhyme and associate with the word "guppie".

I actually would like the guvmint to "spie on me". They might learn sumting wong over der in Washington. They might find out also, that I cuss a lot when I mash my fingers out in the shop, or when (not if) I crash my lathe.

There's nothing new about something being wrong in Washington.

Washington was FUBAR long before Obama got elected, twice!

Looking forward:

Aside from Ted Cruz (where was he born again?) who seems to me to be nothing but a blow hard radical (Tom DeLay?) and the self proclaimed optometrist from Ole Kentuc what do the Republicans have to offer in the way of presidential material?

PLEASE don't inflict yet another Bush on us Lord. Bush #1 was OK. Bush #2 (Cheney's puppet) wasn't smart enough to keep us out of Iraq and Afghanistan. He was driving the bus when the housing bubble burst with a reverberation that can still be heard today. Bush #3 would be a major disaster.

I like Ben Carson's view points, and also Sen. Rubio. Also Repubs have a potential dark horse lady candidate (former CFO of HP), but I don't know much at all about her.

I think a self-proclaimed optometrist is far better than the cranial intrarectumologist we have now. (paragraphs and paragraphs of expletives deleted this section).

(This section left intentionally blank, and on purpose).

Even better than some real honest leadership, would be a whole nation pulling together for a change instead of pulling apart, or as Ben Franklin put it best: "We must all hang together lest are each hanged separately"

Has anyone else on here seen the photo of three democrats having a strategy meeting? Imagine three Nebraskans with their heads in the posterior section of each others shorts....and the picture will develop of something you will wish you could forget.

she was CEO, not CFO, shes widely regarded in stock market circles as the single most influential person to ruin the culture and direction HP had. a type that has 2 ways, her way or no way.

Something like Hillary then, don't you agree. I think we can safely dispense with that idea on either account.

Paid late, some ex-staffers of White House hopeful Fiorina won't sign on again

Federal campaign filings show that, until a few months before Fiorina announced her presidential bid on May 4, she still owed staffers, consultants, strategists, legal experts and vendors nearly half a million dollars.

FEC records show, for example, that her former campaign manager Martin Wilson was owed $80,500; legal counsel Ben Ginsberg $60,000, and the widow of California political adviser Joe Shumate, who died during the final month of the campaign, at least $30,000.

Carly Fiorina forced out at HP - Feb. 10, 2005 - CNN Money

She laid off 30,000 employees at HP, all while retaining her average salary of $3million USD. She took $40million with her in severance when she was booted out at HP.

As of February 9, 2005, HP stock had lost more than half of its value.

Not exactly the type of executive I want to ride around in Air Force One and lead the country into battle.

Yes, I agree. We need to be led, but not into disarray (oh wait none of our so-called foreign policy appears to be working), bancruptcy (oh wait that is where we are now), or oblivion (don't even ask on this one...)

Until the "Supreme" Court takes back voting and campaign contributions from corporate America we are mostly powerless.

We need to:

1. Limit terms of all elected officials. No more lifetime senators or congress members.

2. Limit campaign contributions to $100.00 USD for everyone, corporations, PAC's, individuals, political parties. EVERYONE!

3. Cut Congressional staff and office budgets to a reasonable size.

PartyTotal SalariesTotal SenatorsAverage/Party
Democratic$139,746,61851$2,794,932.36
Republican$107,991,00847$2,297,681.02

Who am I kidding? This will never happen.

We're screwed.

Basically yes. Not only that, we are in the wrong business.
