3 Billion Miles Away

07/05/2015 8:04 AM

it takes about 4.5 hours to send or receive messages from Pluto so any exchange of information requires consideration before hitting "enter" on July 14th if it works out our probe New Horizons will fly by the tiny little reddish brown dwarf and send back some awesome photos.Pluto and Charon

And most people have no idea we have a probe there, or anywhere else.

Pluto was a former planet and Charon is ... well ... ummm??? Since Pluto is now a Dwarf Planet. then Charon is a Moon of a Dwarf Planet, right or a MOD; following the logic of calling someone a SOB.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't New Horizons the last of our Solar System space probes? If so, then why send a space probe to a non-planet and it's moon(s)?

What happens when we send a space ship out and we run into an N'orizo alien who is threatening to take over the universe???
