I was going to go with OM on this, but he definitely upstaged everyone.

This is interesting, surprisingly low solar wind at this distance, and low G on Pluto, both contribute to this factoid. I forget, does solid nitrogen exist on Pluto, or is it in a liquid state, and if solid, does it sublime the way water does, through solid-vapor equilibrium, or is the solar wind able to plasma etch the surface of Pluto? The sketch appears to show a vapor pressure atmosphere that is being excited to N2 plasma products?
