How HART Interoperability is important and what is the cause and scope of HART interoperability?

Interoperability just means that an instrument can communicate or work with another instrument or equipment. If you have a bunch of instruments that cannot communicate with each other, they are not interoperable (it also means you have a big problem ).

I don't understand what you mean by "cause and scope", however.
