We're engaged in a renovation project -- installing hardwood floors, which require a maximum elevation difference of 3/16" over a 10' span and one section is through an area formerly covered with tile that still has 3/4" of thinset that must be removed. Short of sitting there with a chisel for several days chipping away, does anyone have any brilliant ideas to remove the thinset from the concrete without damaging the underlying concrete slab?
Thanks in advance for any information or help ya'll can provide.
