I am looking for ABB Softstarter with model PSD 250 and PSD 370 series with operating voltage of 415V/50-60 Hz. Please send all details including address of the suppliers, contact or fax number and E-Mail to me.
Hi Simon
I suppose you're US resident so I'm sending you the address data of US office of ABB, responcible for LV control products:

Also I'd like ot advice you to ask for the new model PST (PSD is obsolete). PST is many time sbetter and in Europe was cheaper than PSD. If you have any technical questions conecrning ABB softstarters, don't hesitate to ask me - I'm sure I will be able to asnwer.
Thanks for the information. I would like to know wheather the ABB softstarter Model: PSD 370 and PST 370 having the same dimension for the mounting and for the input and output terminal. As for my plant, I am still using the old model of PSD 370 for my 185KW motor water pump. My input Voltage and output terminal for the ABB Softstarter is by busbar system. But this is not a problem to me as I can modified it by using 240mm2 cable. But for lower range for the ABB Softstarter and due to space constrain, it is not a easy job to do the modification.
Unfortunately the dimensions are difefrent as PSTB370 has integrated by-pass contactor, different type of terminals etc. Anyway, try to download from www.abb.com the recent catalogues (there is section LV products A-Z) and you can see them. Depends on your vision, new ones could be used, as far distances between terminals are smaller than in PSD - you can keep the central busbar connection and left and right to connect with flexible insulated Cu busbars (e.g. ERICO). I did something similar in the past when changed from EH contactors to new AF.
Of course, if this forum allows to give e-mail addresses in posts, and if you accpet, give me yours and I will send you the dimension drawings.
Good luck!
