Me too. Very successful it appears and no unwanted mission "surprises".

The lonely planet guide for Mars was written by others but these happy snaps are pretty good.

"Do I have even the right to get annoyed on your senseless posts? "

No, the only right you have is to move along...... so,...... move along.

Technically a right answer is already answered and as per the preposition it is answered right.

You have some sort of inversion here. Remember: give up hope and all is gone!

Bye!

But technically, you don't answer answers. You answer questions, and you question answers. Right?

Yes. Good job, India. If any of us in the West act surprised, that is a sign of our lack of awareness, and no slur against India.

This was the result of good scientific knowledge and solid engineering ability. Well done!

I don't think anyone is surprised that they could do it.... if anything, for the ones in the west, which has a lot of infrastructure from other country's such as India, it's the success, because we known of the risks....

And anyone here in the west, loves any new data, no matter where it comes from.

Perhaps I am projecting my own ignorance, then. I do not think of India as being incapable. I can't begin to list how much engineering and technology we outsource to there. Also, considering the number of Indian nationals and Americans of Indian descent I have worked with in the High Tech sector here in the States, I would be foolish to think the ability to do this kind of work does not exist there. But I did not know this was happening.

I fully agree with your last statement. We say "Nothing succeeds like success". We love hearing success stories. We love the data and the pictures. We want it to be a contest where we compete. We want it to be a co-operative where we all work together. We want it to be a good show where we watch someone do a good job. We have always been a nation of technophiles and explorers and doers, and we still admire that in ourselves and others.
