Google Mail

09/14/2015 10:51 AM

Hello fellow techies. My issue is with Google Mail, Under my contacts I have a list of 113 people and when I access this list and try to send a group email I can find no way to do it with BCC Blocked Carbon Copy. Then I go to my in box and click on compose hit BCC and bring up the list all I get is 76 of them.

Does anyone know a way of accessing the group list and send the email BCC. It appears that Google is so big that there is no way to get help. I have googled the problem and received some suggestions but they do not solve the problem. I appreciate all comments and input. Thanks.

Thanks everyone I will try some of the solutions. I will break my list up into smaller groups and give it a shot.

Gmail's fine until something goes wrong.

Out of the blue one day, I get no subject line in incoming emails on my laptop.

Spent hours trying to fix it and asking forums. Nothing has worked.

Google will consult, for $49.00USD per "event".

Now, I have to look at my phone, unless I want to open every incoming email on my laptop.

Rant off.

It is my understanding that "BCC" stands for "Blind Carbon Copy", which means that any recipient of that email gets no information on who else received the same email.

It is a common occurrence for there to be a limit on how many emails can be sent from a single source in a given time frame. Try breaking your contacts into 2 or more groups. Send to one group, then wait a few hours or a day before sending the next group.

Yes, Apple mail also has a 100 address limit. You don't need to do anything other than keep each group under 100. You can then send even 10 groups one right after another as long as they don't exceed the 100 address limit.

Yes Outlook also abides by the 100 max at one time. For me no waiting period, just break it into multiple group sends.
