1985 Mercedes 300 SD Climate Control

09/21/2015 12:41 PM

Were can I find the climate control sensor in my 1985 Mercedes 300 SD?

The A/C goes from cold to hot, and repeat over and over. Could this be the

senor?

it is a German car, it might have software designed to prevent it from being tested properly

This problem has to be troubleshoot....I gave you a link to the shop manual($10)necessary to do this in your last thread....Taking pot shots at solving the problem by guessing is not the way to go, and not likely to be productive....It's most likely a vacuum hose that has deteriorated and is now leaking....but I'm just guessing, and without a diagram like the one in the shop manual, do not even know the locations....It would be great if there was only one part that controlled the A/C, sadly that is not the case, there are many...

In the meantime you can take a quick trip around the Nurburgring in an Ariel Atom on a crowded track day event....

No, I did not! I spilled my coffee on them.

Like to see that in IMAX.

Thanks!
