AC DLM Meters Eratic Reading

Hi.

I am facing the problem in the DLM (CVM96)circuitor meters when connected to ckt at no load its showing 70-100A current .what could be the problem.kindly help me.

Could be grounded circuits or wiring. Check load side wiring.

If not, calibrate the meter. If its good, go back and check the load side

Ring the equipment manufacturer, Mildred, and talk it through with them.

Have you:

1. verified that the meter is working properly,

2. checked the circuit with a different meter of known calibration,

3. correctly programmed the meter for the CT ratio,

4. read the fine manual that tells you how to do the above,

5. contacted the manufacturer whose phone number appears in the manual?

Warning!!! Working on CT circuits without knowing what you are doing is dangerous to both property and personnel, get qualified help now or pay much more later!
