5. Don't tell mom, the babysitter is dead

8. The return of the king (The last one-Christmas of 2003 in Anchorage, Alaska)

9. Braveheart (TV)

10. The water world (TV)

I see more movies on the TV than the theaters.

By the way htese are movies that I saw during past about 33 years.

(I guess I am on the other extreme of moviegoers list)

Going back a long ways, my first Sci-fi flic and still my alltime favorite is:

Forbidden Planet. It was made in~1953-54. In one of the opening lines by the narrator he says something like: By the year 2250, man had successfully sent a maned spaceflight to the moon SLIGHTLY OFF ON THE DATE THAT OCCURRED.

How about AVP - seemed like it would be so stupid, but it's actually pretty dern good. The whole premise of the predators hunting the aliens and the beginnings of ancient civilizations is cool and jives with a lot of archaeological theories, plus its cool that the sole survivor turns out to out-hunt the predator and ends up with his spear and the mark of the hunter. Just watched that one again the other night. Watching all aliens back to back is pretty good too, they're seamless as a trilogy. What ever happened to James Cameron? He was so good with Sci-Fi screenplays. Abyss and the first two terminators were the last things he did, weren't they?
