I'm appalled at the poor English of the article! At first I assumed it was a translation into English, of something written in another language, by someone for whom English is a second language. But then I went back and checked the author's name. Douglas Gray certainly sounds like a person whose first language is most likely English. A person with such poor knowledge about English sentence structure shouldn't be writing anything, especially about NASA!
