when I was a teenger I went to school with over 1000 kids. Occasionally I'd superglue a quarter in a high traffic area then sit back with my friends and belly laugh at all the energy that was expended by dozens of kids attempting to claim 25 cents

I believe most, if not all, pacemaker housings are constructed from non-magnetic alloys. That does NOT mean they can't be detected by metal detectors, as in airports...
