what is the problems with mono suspensions bikes?

Depends on the application of the bike. Mountain bikes demand suspension, road racers demand light weight, forget suspension entirely. (also, suspension on the rear of a bike does soak up power from the rider)

depends on the suspension/swingarm location relative to cranks
