Steel Design

07/24/2007 3:47 AM

Hi all!

Wishes to you for a very good time ahead!

I'd ask ur help in getting materials / handbooks for steel structure design per American Codes. Any info related to codes, texts, manuals, handbooks are welcome.

Thanks and Regards

Try the J.F.Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation. They have a number of low cost resources. The one I have is called "The Design of Welded Structures" by Omer Blodgett. I don't know how current the information is with respect to American standards, however, it has a load of general information.

Thats really low cost! Unfortunately that book "Design of Welded Structures" is out of stock! Let me search for some other sources.

Go to American Institute of Steel Construction's web site. AISC has almost all of their codes available for free download. This should help you.
