For me it appears as a Heat Exchanger, where the heating medium (may be steam or hot air is flowing through the white pipe.

Looks like some kind of fuel cell supports, like in a rocket stage.

I think it is a view in a tunnel. I see some anchor bolts to fasten the plates with the rock.

Yes, it looks as if there is a rotary surface finisher for the concrete, after which they insert some rock bolts??

Looking again at the picture I wood think that it is a vertical "hole". This is as well supported by the way the "tube" is supported.

a few months ago a Space X rocket blew up about a minute into lifting off. as the rockets liquid fuel depletes it loses tank pressure. to compensate a helium source is fed into the tank to maintain proper pressure. the round "rods" seen in the pic are called "struts".......they support the helium tank. after exhaustive research it is these struts that are considered to be at the heart of the failure and total loss of the mission. a rocket launch is a controlled violent sequence that produces huge vibration and forces. these struts have been upgraded and their inspection process beefed up.......now if they can just get the thing to land on a barge without a "Crash and Burn", they might have a reusable rocket

This is nothing but a cat toy - writ large, you can see two of them peeking over the edge...

It reminds me of a video I saw a while back of a very large vacuum chamber.
