Peavey 'CAB 8o' Media Matrix Communication

11/25/2015 5:44 AM

Hi everyone.

I would like to know how can I communicate with the Peavey unit from a PC. What I am interested particularly, is to activate the relay outputs to confirm the correct function of our alarm system without disturbing the whole operation and or waking up every people on board.

Thank you.

You must obtain the software and correct communication cable from Peavey that allows communication and programming to be executed between your laptop and the unit.

You could try using hyperterminal (dumb-terminal) but I do not think it will allow anything other than text viewing.

The best option is to contact Peavey Tech support for guidance.
