Mechanical Pipe Hydro Test

Hi,Is there any alternate solution for Hydro Test of lift irrigation UG pipe line?Pipe ID 3500 MM,WT 23 & 20 MM, MOC-IS:2062-2001,spiral weld.Test Pr.22Kg/cm2?question here.

This depends on what the problem is. The alternate option is to have a leak during operation.

Another option is: Given that all tubes are hydrostatically tested by the manufacturer and if your line does not have many welds, you can justify the use of " gold welds" This kind of welds are covered by the codes (ASME, API,.....) and, in specific cases, could replace the hydro and pneumatic test.WP
