CPU 414 Redundant

11/30/2015 8:23 AM

I have CPU and a redundant CPU (Siemens 414 4H).How can I find out the DB that will carry the status of the particular CPU whether it is Master/Stand by information.
Browsing I got ssl-id W#16#0174 which would give status of LED. How can I get DB address for the same. (using IBH OPC Server Software)
Thank you

You should be able to access the configuration files to determine which CPU is the Master unit.

Have you tried accessing the configuration files yet?

A telephone call to Siemens will yield the answer; unfortunately, CR4 does not have a training program on the use of that equipment, and self-help is recommended as a way forward.
