Novel Material for Drone Construction

How about a biodegradable drone? This article caught my eye in part because the technology used to produce the drone chassis is being pioneered by Ecovative Design here in NY's capital region. Ecovative's first product was a material to use for insulation. The idea of using mushroom "roots" for anything at all is mind-boggling. The idea of crafting a biodegradable drone (or at least the housing thereof) ... what a testament to human ingenuity.

Dont laugh. When i moved into a farmhouse in Iowa many years ago my wife came in the house and stated that there was hemp growing all over the lawn, and their was.

Come to find out it was used to produce hemp rope during WW2 and it was still growing.

(headache high)

Or you could train a falcon and tie a camera around its neck...that would be biodegradable...

Not the way I expected this discussion to go, but I'm enjoying each post. You guys could be the next Monty Python team if you got together in one place. Or maybe all of you together in one place is more than the planet could handle?

Good point about a drone that could biodegrade right on top of your head.
